These songs are written and recorded in a variety of American musical styles. When the African musical traditions blended with the European influences and the Native Music in the Americas something special happened. The music we made started to shuffle and swing. It started with Jazz and Blues, then Country, Folk and Rock evolved. This influence can be found in North, Central and South American musical styles and is stitched into the fabric of modern popular music from Rock to Hip Hop and from Country to Calypso.
The mission is to write a chapter into the Great American Songbook. To traverse style and genre while doing all that can be done to touch hearts with music and meaningful words.
